FRG meets the demands of Critical Services
Critical Services engineers now have access to the unique benefits delivered by the FRG, which is revolutionising corrosion management and flange maintenance in the oil and gas industries, with the FRG-HF. Developed for applications where highly aggressive chemicals are used, such as Hydrofluoric Acid in alkylation processes, the FRG-HF provides the ultimate sealing potential in reducing corrosion activity and also the ability to seal already corroded flanges in maintenance operations.
Flexitallic’s new FRG-HF combines the low stress sealing of the fully-structured modified PTFE along with the fire safe graphite faced serrated metal core. This combination gasket was initially developed for usage in a fire safe environment, sealing flammable media under pressure, and was further developed for use in alkylation plants.
