Flexitallic Ltd to appear at this year’s Offshore Europe exhibition in Aberdeen, 6th to 8th September 2011 

Flexitallic Ltd, part of the FDS Group, a global leader in the manufacture and supply of high quality, high value industrial static sealing products is exhibiting at Offshore Europe 2011 in Aberdeen (6 – 8 September) to showcase its range of sealing innovations.

Visitors to the company’s stand (3C43) will be able to see first hand why the name ‘Flexitiallic’ has become synonymous with the manufacture and supply of high quality, high value industrial static sealing products.

Visitors will also be able to find out more about the company’s global customer service network, its international licensees and distributor network of over 750 companies operating across 30 countries.

Flexitallic will also be promoting its Academy of Joint Integrity, which has dedicated facilities located in Aberdeen, Teesside, Humberside, West Yorkshire, and globally within their overseas operations.

The company will be giving daily demonstrations at 11am and 2pm throughout the exhibition utilising their Flange Assembly Demonstration Unit (FADU) to illustrate the importance of correct bolt-up procedures for leak free sealing through their clear, easy to interpret load monitoring software.

Developed for use in Critical Services this versatile material maintains integrity at high temperatures and provides resistance to corrosion and fire safe sealing.  Flange Rescue Gasket (FRG): an innovative solution to the problem of internal corrosion of flanges with associated hydrocarbon releases. The FRG is capable of adapting to extensively damaged flange sealing surfaces and was developed as a direct result of customer demand in the North Sea.  Sigma®: Developed for processes ranging from cryogenic temperatures to 260ºC, and suitable for sealing virtually every chemical medium across the entire pH range (0-14). 

Flexitallic has a well established presence in the oil and gas industry and sees this year’s event as the perfect platform to showcase its complete sealing solutions for the offshore industry.
