Technical Challenges
They receive part of their crude discharged at a offloading buoy at 7 miles off-shore.
This buoy is connected to the refinery by a 8 km pipeline. This line has been regularly changed and modified. The most vulnerable part is under a river bed before reaching the refinery. This part had been changed 3 years ago already and will be changed during the summer using our technology.
Solution
Our Flange Rescue Gaskets both RJ and Flexpro types have been recommended by JP. Kenney, a UK Engineering firm involved in the project.
